Our Redwood Studio apartment is within easy walking distance to Guerneville’s charming shops and great restaurants. You’ll love the the serenity of the trees, sounds of the chickens, and the quiet friendly neighborhood. It sits at the base of an old growth Redwood tree. There is no stove in the small kitchenette, it has microwave, toaster oven, french press, kettle. Attached to our home, the Studio apartment has a private entrance and deck.
Armstrong Redwoods is 2 miles away. Sonoma Coast is 10 miles.
The Space
We found this beautiful place in 1985 and have lived here ever since. Located just a few blocks from Main Street but on a hill above town, the property has ancient redwoods and the Redwood Studio apartment is a the base of our biggest and oldest tree, probably more than 500 years old. Although easy walking down to town it feels like a world away. Our large rambling house was built around 1890. The Studio was a separate apartment that we have recently renovated. We have really enjoyed sharing our space with visitors to the area.
Guest Access
The Studio apartment has off street parking, a private entrance and a small deck.
Interation with Guests
We live on the property and are happy to talk to our guests, but also give them privacy. We are always available for questions, advice or concerns.
Other Things to Note
There is no stove in the small kitchen but you will find all the basic essentials for preparing simple meals.
There is a table with 2 chairs, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, mini-frig, some cooking /storage pieces, French Press coffee maker, tea kettle and tea pot, dishes, glasses, cups, utensils, tea and coffee, sugar, olive oil and vinegar, also outside a BBQ.
Maximum number of guest is two.
